Birthday celebrations and work out routines do not mix - Not even a little bit. Plan was Ladies night 5-7, then gym for 8. What actually happened. Ladies Night until 9pm then off to venue # 2, home around 11pm - no energy for even a pseudo work out.
This morning I am feeling fat and bloated and we absolutely must hit the gym for like 2 hours if not 3 tonight!!! This is assuming I will have the energy to do so after shopping for my party outfit tomorrow!!! Hopefully I can do a one store and out deal after work.
This weekend is going to be super hectic and I will definitely need to carve out work out time each day to meet and keep my goals.
I always have the best of intentions but not necessarily the follow through. I think I could have hit my goals a long time ago if I would just stick to the plan. As discipline is not my strong suit, I have to remember that I am only human and I am taking this journey on my terms on my pace and being healthy about it. Of course, I often wish the inches would just miraculously melt off during my sleep if I build up enough muscle and cut back on carbs (except the drinks - lol). My core is super hard underneath this layer of fat where I can see a couple abs poking though and my ribs as well but I mean really.... How much muscle do I have to build to be a constant 24/7 fat burning machine....?!
